Choose an area of nonmagickal flame that you can see and that fits within a 2m Cube within range. You can extinguish the fire in that area, and you create either fireworks or smoke when you do so.
Fireworks. The target explodes with a dazzling display of colors. Each creature within 6m of the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, taking 3d4 Fire damage and potentially becoming
Critical Success (+10). The target is unaffected.
Success. The target takes half damage.
Failure. The target takes full damage and is Blinded until the end of its next turn.
Critical Failure (–10). The target takes 1.5× damage and is Blinded for 1 minute. While it is Blinded, it can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns to try and remove this effect.
Smoke. Thick black smoke spreads out from the target in a 6m radius, moving around corners. The area of the smoke is Heavily Obscured. The smoke persists for 1 minute or until a moderate wind (at least 30kmh-1) disperses it.
